An important part of Elmira’s history for over 100 years, the Elmira Country Club is a family friendly establishment with one of the finest golf and social experiences in Chemung County – the club for all seasons.  Rich in history and tradition, ECC was founded in 1897 with an exceptionally well-maintained 18-hole golf course that is beautifully situated within the valley of the Chemung River. Our golf course and Club House offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and continues its role as a haven where traditions and memories are made. The club offers a welcoming environment, excellent food and an abundance of social activities to enjoy companionship and the company of family and guests. Members think of the “club” as their home away from home for themselves and their families -- and as the perfect place for entertaining guests. Our staff are friendly, knowledgeable, service-oriented and take great pride in their work. 

 

The mission of Elmira Country Club is to promote golf, tennis, and other activities to our families and friends while also providing sociability and amusement for its members; and to facilitate its members in the pursuit of health and pleasure.  Our Club House offers a range of attractive dining and entertainment options and the perfect place to host a special event, such as weddings, fundraisers, showers, birthdays parties, meetings, and so on. The club is an essential part of the fabric of the community; a place for families to enjoy sports and recreation and to meet friends new and old; and a place to shed the day-to- day cares of the world while enjoying the gracious and enjoyable company of fellow members.
