Current Membership Specials
The Elmira Country Club’s 2007 Membership Drive is currently underway and we are pleased to be able to offer you a number of special options for your new membership in the Elmira Country Club.Our new Class "C" Membership option
"Class C" is our new temporary, limited-class, membership category that will provide you with the exclusive opportunity to join the club and gain access to its full range of facilities and activities -- without all of the obligation of our regular membership classes.Please note that this is a temporary membership class within our club. Your new C Class membership will allow you to participate in all the that club has to offer from the moment you join until the end April 30, 2008.
To qualify for a Class "C" club membership, you must be applying as a new club member, or a previous Elmira Country Club member who has been away from the Club for at least one (1) full year prior to the date of your application. Unlike our regular membership categories, as a "C" class member, you will not responsible for capital improvement debt repayment and you will not have voting privileges in the club.
When your new Class C membership expires on April 30, 2008, you will have an opportunity to convert your "C" membership to one of our regular club memberships, without the payment of any additional initiation fees.
Class C club membership is comprised of two distinctive classifications.
- If you are under the age of 30, you will not be required to pay any initiation fee and your dues of $100.00 plus tax per month will include access to golf, pool, racquet sports and our fitness facility. In addition to your basic dues, you will also be responsible for a $50.00 food minimum per month.
- If you are 30 years of age and older, your club initiation fee will be only $500.00 and the dues will be $125.00 plus tax per month. Your new membership will be a "House" membership and will include use of our pool, racquet and fitness center. As a House member, you will be able to play golf on our 18 hole course four (4) times during the golfing season upon payment standard green fees. The food minimum for this category of membership will be $50.00 per month.
Full Golf Membership Specials
If you are over 30 years of age and would prefer to take advantage of a full golf membership, we are currently offering a special membership program that you may want to consider. For a limited time, we are able to offer you a Full Golf membership in our club with an initiation fee of only $1,500.00 plus tax.If you are 30 years of age but under 35, the monthly dues for your new Class B-Golf membership will be $190.25plus tax. If you are 35 years of age or older, the monthly dues for your new Class A-Golf membership will be $253.41 plus tax.
To help offset the initial initiation fee, we are pleased to announce that both new A-Golf and B-Golf members will receive a $50.00 dues credit each month, for your first 30 months of club membership. Thus, if you maintain your club membership for 3 years, you will have recovered you complete initiation fee.
If you choose to join the club with either a Class A or Class B Golf membership, you will have full voting privileges in the club and, as with all regular club memberships, you will be responsible for the standard capital debt repayment assessment in addition to your monthly dues.
